GUESS WHO's PICTURE WAS ON THE FRONT PAGE OF WASHINGTON POST?!? FIRST MANASSAS, Centennial Reenactment, Year July 21-23, 1961 on the BATTLE FIELD, over 5,000 Participants. When I was YOUNG, about eigthteen, My Best Friend TIMMY Asked Me if I want to be in Reenactment of 1ST BULL RUN. The North Lost BOTH 1st & 2nd Battles at MANASSES. YOU GUESS IT. I Was on the LOSING Side!! CAN'T WIN! Well the Tempertures Were VERY HOT, Well You KNOW WHAT I WORE, I WAS in a REAL UNION SOLDIER "WINTER","WOOL" Uniform! ALONE, During The Battle I Stopped and Leaned on My Rifle with MY HAT Leaning Back on MY Head. SOMEONE TOOK A PICTURE and it MADE it to the FRONT PAGE of the WASHINGTON POST WOW! and Just THINK OF IT, I was JUST HAVING FUN!!
